To Get The Confidence To Study: 3 Solutions That Actually Work
Hello Today I am going to share some ways to generate self confidence in your study so let's get started
How to create the right environment
1. Get rid of distractions: Whatever you’re doing, don’t get distracted. Right now I’m writing this post, but I still get distracted by my cat. Like I don’t care about my blog right now so I’m not writing right now. Obviously that won’t help you in any way. Here are a few things that I do that help me. I wear earphones. Music distracts me a lot so I don’t get distracted. If I do get distracted then I just finish whatever I’m doing. I keep my phone on silent. Sometimes I won’t even respond to people asking me for help, it’s my way of feeling accomplished. It helps me focus but it also helps me not feel annoyed and irritated by people. 2. Use a paper and pencil: You can’t make it through your whole study session without writing on a piece of paper.
How to change your mindset
If you've ever had doubts about your study abilities, you're not the only one. I know that for me, every time I felt a low point in my studies, I thought about how I could change the way I was thinking about studying so that I could turn it around. Here's what I did to help change my mindset. 1. Make a study plan I found a different way to read and understand the material I studied every time I felt lost. Instead of going through the book and scanning to the section that made sense for me and skipping the stuff that didn't make sense, I spent a bit of time on the theory behind the information. Once I did that, I started to understand how the material was connected and was able to put the lessons together in a way that made sense to me.
How to build your confidence
1. Be a fitness fanatic: I really don't know about you but I do like to keep fit. It helps me stay relaxed and I find that it helps me be focused. These days, I do different kinds of activities which help me to stay fit. Like I do yoga, run, swim etc. What I don't do is joining crazy extreme sports. I've had to leave those kind of activities because if I don't recover from the risk I could get injured. It's just not worth it. Try to stay healthy and stay active. Exercise helps boost your energy, concentration, mood and confidence. 2. Talk to people that inspire you: Being an entrepreneur means a lot of mental and physical challenges. I know that the people around you don't necessarily share your vision, perspective and enthusiasm.
Conclusion
You now know the problem and how to overcome it Write down the problem and fix it before going back to your study Remind yourself that as long as you have your self confidence, you can do whatever you want to do Stop comparing yourself to others and comparing your grades to others Let me know how you made it out and what you think about these tips!
